Single-storey extension and kitchen renovation in Townsend, Harpenden

This project involved the construction of a stunning single-storey rear extension alongside a full kitchen renovation, transforming an underused area of the home into a warm, functional, and inviting living space. The design focused on maximising natural light, improving flow, and creating a space suited to modern family living.

The existing cold and unused conservatory was removed and replaced with a beautiful new dining room, seamlessly connected to the kitchen. The new space features aluminium bifold doors and a large picture window, flooding the room with natural light while creating a strong visual connection to the garden. This transformation has turned a previously impractical space into a central hub for everyday living and entertaining.

Externally, we installed a new composite decking area, constructed using composite joists to ensure durability, structural integrity, and minimal ongoing maintenance. Designed to withstand the test of time, the decking provides a practical and stylish outdoor space that complements the extension and enhances the overall usability of the garden.
